Parched Earth

Parched Earth

12K

A lil' girl, looked around,

Terrif'ed - no water, no chirrupings, no bliss!

Just the crack'd ground

Pathetic men dying - no face glitz!!

Lil' girl, dumbstruck, her mind reckons,

The days spent hours in shower

Regrets she now, in vain beckons

Nothing she'd do but wail - had no power

Ho mighty! the earth parched

All life counting days, in the death bed

Will there be no solution - heart searched

Oh, yah! Alarmingly woken, "Just a dream", sighing said.

Relieved she, "Never again-Parched earth" oathed she - proud

Though sighed 'bout humanless human crowd.
