Over The Horizon

 

You look yonder over the hills,

Over the green trees and singing birds,

Over the barn, the yard and the house,

You look at the dazzling bright sun,

You look … OVER THE HORIZON!

Where all else fails and happiness escapes from your heart,

When all the world around you is filled with troubles,

When you can’t seem to think straight,

When the world is broken up and is tearing you apart.

Have faith, look … OVER THE HORIZON!

Where the sun joins the sky and the sea,

Where the air carries a delicate fragrance,

Where all creatures can be happy,

Where love flows in abundance,

That place is one in a million,

And can only be found … OVER THE HORIZON!

This place I shall one day find,

And once reach it, I will live in glory,

I shall still wonder although,

What great power on this earth made this place,

And what greater power brought me to it,

That is after all … OVER THE HORIZON!
