Best friends, Buddies for life, Girlfriends

Like the ones with whom in a group of people

Share a conspiratory grin and wink

Followed by peals of patterned laughter 

Like the ones with whom we share 

Good and bad,

Lows and highs,

Time passes by in comfortable silence,

Hours flows like minutes conversing

Like the ones with we can be unabashedly ourselves,

Let me tell you about such mates of mine

The one who looks like a nymph laughs like a breeze

Don't take her for only that though, for she is much more than that

Gentle counsel that warms you,

Greeting that makes you feel right at home,

Charming everyone with her eloquent speech,

Badass in her unique way,

Stands her ground, never the one to 

Shy away from speaking her mind

Heart full of big dreams and hopes

To change the world for the better, 

 Playful, fun-loving, and zestful, 

Confidence personified 

But still, a linger of doubt in the heart

What can I say except 

Believe in yourself, Girl

Oh, the other one,

Short, cute, and with a mischievous smile

Don't linger there look into her eye,

Full of fiery passion and pride,

Force to be reckoned with,

Doesn't back down without a fight,

Calls a spade a spade.

Always ready to aid a friend,

Takes care of you like family.

Idealistic and just,

Sees the world for what it could be,

Never the one to leave work unfinished.

Always goes an extra mile,

Well, what could I possibly say except

To the things we shared 

 Cries, fun, tension, work, lectures,

Mostly laced with a healthy dose of laughs and fun,

Lucky me to meet you and better have you as my mates
