On Some Lazy Days

In my living room

There stood a huge wall

On that huge wall lies a big TV

I, on some lazy days

Half-sleeping on my couch

Staring aimlessly

Sometimes on TV

Sometimes on wall

A big TV and a huge wall

Both appeared same to my eyes

And so I keep on turning the channels

With every press came a new channel

With every new channel came a new drama

Sometimes melodrama

Suddenly I saw a football match

Boring and odd.

People running haphazardly

To kick the same ball

And so the luckless ball

Moving everywhere

A chill went down my spine

Ironical may be hyperbole

But life too has turned like football match

Boring and odd

People too are kicking me from all the sides

Now all appeared to me the same

A huge wall

A big TV

A boring football match

And this worthless life

True
