Noise

Noise

In this big world of chaos and noise,

And advertisements and joys,

Let me be a tiny drop of silence,

Dripping from the leaves,

Of an old tree, of some turbulent monsoon,

Let my heart dwindle to and fro,

Let my soul be drowned in deep thoughts of mine;

But let not my mouth speak,

For words aren't deep enough to cut through 'their' frozen mind.

Noise is just heard,

But silence is felt,

And it reverts back again and again...
