Being younger it's my right to have a bigger piece of cake

Being elder she has responsibilities to undertake

She loves to laugh and listen to my worst PJs

She enjoys being a part of my mischievous escapes

The bites, kicks, and punches commence

And just before mom comes the revenge accomplishes

She has to face my parents because of me

And is ever ready to get grounded for me

She supports me in the darkest times

And taught me to aim for the lily of the Nile

She makes me eager to have a glimpse of her smile

She taught me to lead an extraordinary life

As the year passes she shares with me her gravest secrets

As she ties the rakhi every year, our bond deepens

But we know that no power can separate us

The unbreakable bond will forever lie between us.
