My dreams, my career, my aspiration

Got a new definition,

When my single identity became two,

One was already me, and another came you..

Tiny like a rabbit, I felt you in my bosom,

Your eyes closed, your face so awesome,

Your tiny little fingers, when gripped mine,

Such a little gesture, still felt divine.

The 9 months of waiting, and preparation too,

Such a beautiful feeling, as you grew,

I knew it would, never be the same,

Making you happy, would be the only aim.

Your smile, your pain, or your fears,

And sometimes those rolling down tears,

All have became treasures for me,

Memories in making, for me to see.

Working and parenting, and I know it’s tough,

Schedules all changed, and lifestyle so rough

Still I’ll keep moving to my destination,

I’ll be a story, And you’ll be my inspiration

My kid and me, identities two,

Parallel shall thrive, and enjoy too

The love, hard work and all the fun,

Our lives shall shine, like the sun.
