My Sister - My Undeniable Miracle

When life comes with its twists and turns and I do not know where to escape and run,

At that crucial and confusing hour, my sister is the only one whom I need.

She believes in me when no one does, she always has an ear to lend.

She is the one who is there for me, to console me, to heal me and defend.

 

When she is around, I feel content and complete, she makes me dream and feel free.

Together we laugh, together we share; with my sister, I can never hide my joy, my glee.

 

She bears my whims and fancies with a beautiful patient smile on her face,

She is my little sister but gives me affection and compassion like a mother always.

She gives a shoulder to cry on, motivates me and never lets anyone dim my glow.

 

She is my little sister, my smile, my mirth, my only place to be, who means the world to me,

Whenever she is aghast, she has had a fight or suffered a debacle, I am the one, to whom she will always flee.

 

Her tears and agony, her despair and doubts, her dreams and aspirations, she reveals only to me,

I am the one whom she trusts, I am the one with whom she will always feel unrestrained and free.

 

This bond so unique and rare, so bountiful, this fellowship that we share,

It hard to find in this mean selfish world, someone who loves unconditionally and truly cares.

 

We complement one another; We understand each other even in silence,

To know our thoughts, we do not need words or daily meetings, so well-built is our alliance

 

She is my ally, my soulmate, my truest friend, indeed an angel in disguise.

A blessing sent by the Almighty, she came in my life like a fairy from paradise.

 

Any of our mistakes or setbacks in life will never be huge enough to over shadow our love and intimacy.

We might have clash of opinions, arguments but our sisterhood will inconsistently flourish like a flowing sea.
