My Precious Childhood

Childhood the only phase in life filled with joy,

Remembering the friends, sweets and our toy.

Our precious time spent in Reading storybooks,

A new spark came when the lovely mother looks.

Feel of achievement after felling while cycling,

 time spent staring at the sky, seeing stars twinkling. 

Getting scolded after committing the silly mistakes,

 Eating yummy chocolates that our mother bakes.

Ah! How fulfilled was my experience of pre-school,

My teachers and naughty friends were pretty cool.

I had the fear of exams and lengthy assignment,

But those golden memories turn out as excitement.

Now, I always miss the carefree life of being a child,

Hating the work life with all the pending tasks piled.

A small wish crept in to let me go back to that day,

When I set off for teenager's voyage and stop play.
