My pet Parrot...

At last, amid all my pains,

Wanted to free her from the cage,

I felt unjust to keep her within my vicinity,

I overlooked,

She too has a life to live,

She too has wings to fly,

Because of my love,

I never set her free,

I was infatuated with her charming grins,

I was captivated by her infantile words,

I was obsessed with her daring walk,

She is my pet parrot,

Her name is Beauty,

I adore her heartily,

She is an excellent companion,

In my grief and my ecstasy,

With a heavy heart,

I set her free from the Golden cage,

She flew kissing me out of my sight,

My eyes well up with tears,

I saw her soaring happily in a glorious sky, 

Where,

I understood the tranquility, 

The peace in the midst of my pet Parrot's pain.
