My Mother

There is an Angel in my life,

Who always smile through my plight.

She brings happiness out of nothing

Even when I act least bright.

I know I can lean on her

When life is not so right,

She is my guiding star

When I am in a stage of fright.

When I am down with failure

She picks me up in glory,

And when I am up with fame

She is the one to bring me down to earth again.

She is my mother, whom I believe

God has sent me to cherish ,

I am nothing without her

For I am her flower, without whom I would anytime perish.
