My Mother

My Mother

I can see her there sitting on the wood chair,

She smiles at me with no teeth and grey hair;

I can sense the true love it is still there.

I blinked my eyes for fun like she is a little kid;

Its now my turn to make her walk, eat and read,

I always spilled food like she is doing now,

She never gets angry I still wonder how;

I was her little kid she is mine now.

She still rebukes me whenever I go to bed late;

She still gets angry if I leave food on my plate.

I don't mind living with her alone;

She is my life force I am her clone.

How can i tell u how much i love her.

I am her teddy bear and she is my dear
