My Mother's Hug

When I weep 

You take me in your arms

And I feel 

                 The pure warmth of your love

When I am sad 

You squeeze me in your arms

And I feel

               At ease

When I don’t get good grades

You cuddle me 

                        My gift

When I lie sleepless at night

You embrace me

                           And I fall asleep

When I am alone 

You hug me

                  You cherish me

When I am in your bay 

Like a ship

                 Joy is the only thing I feel
