My family got a track

Of my mother's health

The news that took away our breath

She was diagnosed with cancer

We were left with no answer

She fought like a queen

As if she had been a trained marine

Today, she is fine

Aged like an old wine

Fighting everyday

Spreading numerous hopeful rays

And making us proud

With her presence

Without being loud

Spreading her essence
