My Lockdown Days

From the day this lockdown was announced,

I did not step out of my house.

What ever was required groceries and medicines,

Was brought to me by ordering online.

No malls, no markets no movies at all,

Taste of outside food which I have forgotten.

Everything closed for the safety of all,

But I was the one who enjoyed the lockdown days.

These lockdown days which I enjoyed most,

It helped me in taking my hidden talent out.

My interest to which I gave my time,

My hobbies, my creativity I tried to show.

Painting, cooking, stitching and all,

Various were my work all through the day.

Making videos sharing them and showing them all,

All this made me happy swear I tell.

I could give more time to my family,

Their needs which I could fulfill only.

Because of this lockdown days,

I enjoyed my life in different ways.
