My Kingpin Pierced

My Kingpin Pierced

Me stood in murk,

I wondered why.

Thought in jerk,

That truthful lie!

Alas...!

Before me, my Jesus spied,

As I knelt down on the floor.

My bleeding knees and eyes died,

My soul was going lower!

Her beautiful eyes my pleasure,

Her red lips was my nosh,

She settled in my hearty leisure,

Her longing proved me cosh!

She lugged me deep in love,

Here, in this all now deadly room.

My loch she filled with dove,

And nous she swept with broom!

I never understood her ruse,

And her daily dying probity.

She laughed my chance on juice,

And left me a deceived amity!

It was not the mistake of that scamp,

Not even your own,

Not certainly, of our love lamp,

But only of my bone!

Pitying my solitary pain,

Jesus sent an angel white,

‘Oh boy! Don’t kill your brain,

If you wish, I have might!

‘I can make any girl to you hook,

With just a shot of my arrow.

Her scathing look, I read in no book,

Who left your path so narrow!’

I said...

‘Thanks for your girl,

You spoke with so grace.

But there’s a case dull,

My heart’s not in place!’
