My Home
My Home
If home makes you feel blessed,
If home is a protective dome,
If home is all wine and flesh,
Then where I am, is not home.
If home is kisses and cuddles,
If home is the world you roam,
If home is all play and puddles
Then this is not my home.
If home loves you more
As you get older,
If home lets you pour
Your tears on its shoulder.
If home means freedom,
If it means being yourself,
Then I never had a home
I know not where I dwelve.
If home means love and peace,
If home is happiness’ key,
Then where I am is on lease
And this my home can never be.
