My Friend

I went to search for a friend in school,

But none of them were cool,

I went to search for a friend in the park,

Not one in sight! Even at my favorite mark,

Then finally a shadow appeared behind me

It barked so eagerly,

I knew that this friend was the right one,

Both of us had lots of fun
