My Cupboard

Do you feel bad for the cupboard?

For the cupboard this occurred

Close and open 24/7

Says " I'd wish I'd go to heaven"

Buy new shirts and keep in me

Lock the door and keep the key

Keep me locked for too much long 

I'd wish I'd play ping pong

Thieves might come and steal me 

But I'd stay steadily

I am made of teakwood

People say I'm well and good

Once my handle broke

I hoped and wished it was a joke

I didn't want to see this day

When they packed and threw me away

I waited for a new hope

And prayed like a church pope

Just to get a better life

And a better keeper
