My Book, My World
My Book, My World
When the days arrive gloriously in a way,
I would always go to the ocean bay,
With my books, I would stand there,
And with my dreams, I would stare,
I will read my novels with all my glare,
And nothing else I would spare,
I would read funny and happy tales I admire,
While the waves move agile,
After I am done reading a page,
I will go to the next with another stage,
Now I am done reading my book,
Off I go all the way home, yes I would.
Now I read in my cozy bed,
And my head I will start to mend,
I shall take the books out of my shelf,
And choose any one all by my self,
And as I mention,
I continue on with all my attention.
The hare will ask,
“Why do you wear such a funny looking mask?”
The bear continues on,
“Why? Do you want it gone?”
The hare stops here,
“No! The mask I will not fear.”
Now I end the part of the story,
Oh, what a fantastic book, full of glory.
Then I place the book on my shelf,
Off I snooze just like an elf.
