My Body Is My Home

My Body Is My Home

2 mins
199

My body is like a temple, it's my home.

To keep it clean is my duty.

My parents had taken so much care to raise me

I should honour their tough moments and sleepless nights.

I should forcefully keep an open eye

That in no way do I neglect my health

Every morning I go for a walk along the river Brahmaputra

The sound of the water rejuvenates my mind

I exercise for an hour and feel the breeze

How healthy it is to show our gratitude to nature for giving us a beautiful environment to grow.

Then why we humans don't show respect to our water bodies.

At far I see some plastic containers flowing by

It makes me think

Why do people do this?

When dustbins are nearby.

Why have we become so lazy to throw bits of plastics in the dustbins

Who taught us these untidy deeds?

Not our parents, not our teachers, not nature

Then why do we turn ourselves into devils and started to ruin our environment?

We are good human beings

So we should practice and make others realize whatever deeds we are doing will come back to us

If we give love, we will get love

If we want peace, we can create it

If we want a good body and sound mind, we can develop it

If we clean our environment, we can breathe healthy air.

What we think, we become.

So, our thoughts and determination can change this world into a better place.
