Moments Are Memories Now

Moments Are Memories Now

Those days when we started with crying,
Those days when we ended with crying,
Those days when the first day was full of experiences,
Those days when the last day was full of emotions.

Those bags, once full of books filled with theories and derivations,
Now these same bags are full of books with memories and moments.

Those teachers who always taught us and shaped us,
Now those same teachers are reminiscing about those good days.

Those tiffin boxes, which were opened in the first slot,
Now those boxes are empty, and no one opens them.

Those uniforms, which we thought were ugly to wear,
Now these uniforms are precious, and are going to miss them.

Those assemblies, when some were excited to go, but others felt fear,
Now, these assemblies are missed by everyone together.

Those days when we prayed that a certain teacher would be absent,
Now we all pray, "Please, God, let us relive the days we were present."

Those schools, which we thought might be falling apart,
Now we are bidding a farewell to them.

Those lectures, once full of theories and numericals,
Now these are just memories, triggering unforgettable moments of our lives.

Those classes, once full of noise,
Now, they are silent, and it's unbearable.

Those labs which were filled with enjoyment and group tasks,
Now they are not the same as they once were.

What wonderful days they were,
which we are now ending.
Isn't it hard to bear?
But life is waiting for your next tear,
The next chapter.

Some things we learned in our school days,
Now it's time for college,
but what about those beautiful days,
which we won't get back in college.

Is this a dream or what?
But whatever it is, it's both happy and sad.
I know it's the end,
But I also know that something new is waiting for me - though it may take some time.

Whatever it is... there are moments that are now memories,
But they are memories that will always be precious to me.
