In a world of women upliftment and feminism

Their rights are unacknowledged

Bearing sorrows and criticism

Still are mercilessly savaged

Among noises of power and fame

Their voices remain unheard

Much convoluted is society's game

Stating "Aren't you born to lead?"

A caring father, A protective brother

A loving son who nurtures

A husband, friend and lover

Are characters they feature

Men are meant to be tough

Tears make them frail

Empathetic is replaced by rough

Say, “Die rather than to fail"

Tagging the word 'equality'

A scale which leans

Overlooked individuality and sanity

Rather biased it seems
