MAY THE RAINS..

MAY THE RAINS..

Breathing with the slipping sand

It's been long I haven’t been who I am;

For the sake of those moments, I didn’t grow

May the rains bless me another show

Where agonies have lived within, there storms won’t be strange

Drowned who in earthy wrath, won’t fear the rain to drench

For the sake of those drops that didn’t shine

May the rain bless life this time

All those hours, I have learned to smile

are now at stake with just a tick of time

When a tick of time can change so much

Then why can’t the drops of rain,

For if they are called divine

Stories start and stories end

What makes them go is just a name

For if the soul is eternal and names mortal,

May the rains touch my soul this time

When heavens pour, they bring thy rules

That truth is an illusion when eyes see

and truth is a notion when souls feel;

That freedom is not being unbound off chains

and free is the one who neither loses nor gains;

For all those moments I’ve been chained by illusions,

May the rains empower me this time
