Masking My Steps

The white satin cloth

Wrapped around my nose

Shows that I care

For my fellow folk

Each step I take

Each mask make

Will make me take the lead

For keeping COVID-19 at bay

Sanitizers, soap, gloves

Are all fine

But mask is the king of all equipment of the time

Making it is not very difficult

Yet it's effect is quite visible

As I mask my steps

I urge you to do the same

For it's not about you

It's not about me

It's about keeping our country safe
