Malicious Glory
Malicious Glory

When vivacity begins to gloom,
Proving my existence, I bring in doom.
I rejoice at the anarchy I gift the populace,
To comply to my might, or to my beauty - a menace.
And yes indeed I foster felony.
With a little more guilt, I'm a little more airy.
Under my clutches, even Liberty begs for herself.
In my presence, even immortality refuses to delve.
But just then do I feel the air of a force.
It tries to seduce me, it tries to coax.
A triumph never smooth, Alas, Fate plays a game.
Not magic, but upon the magician rides the blame.
Now you do muse that you deprive me of my glory.
That I'll soon cease to endure as I drown in my fury.
I find my solace in your failure to see.
That even a star like you, is me without me.
