Look Within

Why do you seek God here and there? He is inside every being. 

Like the Air and the Fire, he pervades inside and outside everything. 

Why gasp for breath in the struggle of life? 

Why do you roam about for peace? Know man, O blessed one! 

You are the fountain of eternal bliss. 

You want power? You want delight? You want knowledge? You want light? 

Look within through an eye of insight. 

Realize the invincibility and feel yourself bright. 

Ah, you like the musk deer wander here and there, In ignorance of the perfume you already bear. 

The prince goes to beg from door to door. 

Is it not foolish if he thinks himself poor? 

Why forget your identity? And that is the whole pity!! 

You are a Light House. You are a Might House. 

O son of the Almighty! "Amritasya Putrah" Why do you roll in the mire of sin? 

'Know thyself'-'Thou art that' and the kingdom of heaven within.
