Loneliness

Loneliness

In the darkness, I looked out for them,

but they did not come,

Downstairs I gazed at the kids playing,

who disliked welcoming,

I strolled around and round my room to pass my time

However, that did not make me feel fine

Finally, I went and sat in front of the IDIOT BOX

Like a fox without any prey to enjoy,

For it gave all the JOY which filled the LONELINESS

in my world.

This poem is dedicated to LONELY CHILDHOOD when most of the days I spent all alone in front of the television set which became my best friend for life.
