Lockdown

Lockdown

The PM imposes a lockdown

To which everybody has a frown,

The days go off in pajamas and gowns

Black, blues, and browns.

Everything ought to be done online,

If we want to see each other fit and fine!

For the first time, everybody is connected only via phone,

Rather than going out and grabbing an ice-cream cone.

People all over the world, are sitting at home,

While all the wild animals have a leisure roam,

The pollution is much less

And there is hardly any mess.

Everyone is now learning to bake,

Delicacies such as cookies and finger-licking cake.

People are pursuing different hobbies,

Rather than chit-chatting in the lobbies!

The PM has imposed a lockdown

To which everybody has a frown,

But after all, it's for our own good,

Being safe, we keep others safe

Time to pay attention to universal brotherhood.
