I miss the hustle and bustle 

Of a crowded city

I miss the chit-chats with my friends

Over the countertop of coffee shops

I miss the visual treats

At the cineplex

I miss the tangy fusion of colours

At the beaches

I miss the rich aroma of spicy Malabari biriyani 

At the fine dining 

This too shall pass, this too shall pass

Waiting to be embraced by my city
