Life’s too short to argue,
To waste our precious days,
On words that wound and linger,
In cold, divided ways.
Each sunrise holds a promise,
Each breath, a fleeting gift,
Why spend it sowing discord,
When hearts could start to lift?
Forgive the little stumbles,
Let go of bitter ends,
For life is but a moment,
Too brief to not make amends.
So laugh, and love, and listen,
Hold close the ones you care,
For in this fleeting lifetime,
Kindness is what we share.
