Life In Womb

Life In Womb

Let’s run fast

We have to reach our destination

One is saying to another and

Life starts with a competition

Yes! I’m the luckiest one

Because she accepted me

Among one million number

I’m the one that she could see

Now we are integrated

That no one can separate us

Our union bestows a new life

Which needs 'a twenty four hours' nurse

See! Now I’m three weeks old

And look like a little ball

When I am identified

A small embryo that everybody call

Aahh! It’s one month now

And god has given me a watery armour

He gave me a connection wire with my mom

Through which I can talk to her

After two months I began to change

From a mass of flesh to a wee miniature

Now I’m called a tiny foetus

And I need many more days to mature

By the end of three months

I am a fully formed baby

My organs are prominent now

Mama! All you need to protect me

Little little fingers and toes

Teensy-weensy heart making a sound

Four months are coming to an end

'I’m a girl', said the ultrasound

I can sense the blow of conch

In the battle field of mom & dad

I’m the apple of discord between them &

The dreams turned to pieces that all I had

Mom was fighting for me

I felt guilty for my existence

Suddenly I was hit badly

Mom fell down, losing her resistance

Thankfully I’m alive and healthy

But I couldn’t help my mom

Dad left us alone in the battle field

And we became dumb & numb

We didn’t cry that day

Rather made our bond even stronger

Mom crossed every hurdle

With the time I was getting older

Now I’m six months old

I can move inside the cavity

Mom becomes so much happy

When she feels my gravity

Wind blows, time flows

Now I am ready to see the world

After nine months of massive pain

It’s time to come out from the mould

On the lap of a superwoman

I found myself when opened my eyes

I promise I’ll never leave you mom

And will make worth your every sacrifice
