Life what have you bestowed on me?

A myriad of colours sometimes grey,

A bouquet of flowers some faded and some thorned,

A basket of surprises some shocking,

The beauty of friendship never to break,

The love of a family to cherish and behold,

The wonders of sight, hearing and touch...

A multitude of visions both hazy and lucid,

The ability to accept the changing globe and varying scenarios,

The acceptance of all being transient,

Here today , gone tomorrow,

The one sure thing to surpass all above

God's infinite love and mercy,

To lead us through all life changes...
