Letter From Birthday

I am your most special day in the year,

Although there might be days more dear.

Your loosing me is not what I fear,

But I will be there for you every year.

With every year I come, I reduce your time in life,

Yet what amuses me is, you celebrate me with delight.

There are many who do not know when I come for them,

Still it's good to see, they invent me for them.

There are many who reject and reinvent me,

I don't know why, but just for some materialistic gain may be.

Though they might have a clone of me,

Yet to them, I am what I was, and will be.
