KittyKatty
Hey I am cat
Hi there, are you there?
I’m waiting — but nobody’s here.
My name is Kitty Katty, I scratch all little things.
I don’t care who you are, I wear no golden rings.
I’m a wild cat,
Killing and eating rats.
I come from lion royalty,
Just not their size or loyalty.
Secure your fish from me —
And close the kitchen window, please!
If I’m a street cat, I’m fierce and free.
If I’m a royal cat, I fear even a bee.
I’m the god of ancient Egyptians
So why don’t you care for me?
I am Kitty Katty —
Giddy, wild, and scratchy!
I chase the shadows on the wall,
I leap so high, then softly fall.
I curl up tight, I pounce and play,
Then sleep through most of every day.
I hide in silence, then strike with flair,
One moment gone, next in the chair.
You’ll never know what’s on my mind —
I’m curious, cool, and undefined.
But many like me roam alone,
No bed, no food, no loving home.
Some fear, some kick, some just ignore —
All we ask is a little more.
