June Arrives

June Arrives

7th grade

began. Stimulation of new classes

curiosity about new subjects and teachers

Joyful mind filled with cheer

but every floating ice sheet

has its own submerged mountain

disquiet of quizzes

frustration of submission

fear of concept

that even Einstein

won't understand

But

I slid through the year

leaving behind the worries

new exploration awaited me

Finally

the year ended

relieved to get rid of all

the worries

And live

a peaceful vacation

But all good things

must end

June arrives again

with all the trepidation

I start

8th grade
