Judgment Of A Wish
Judgment Of A Wish
When the scale tilts in the court of people
Judgement shall be brought upon the human rebel
A hammer will be swung, and words will be made blades
The world to black and white, monochrome fades
Judgement is delivered upon the sinned
Whether they be foe or friend
Judgement is delivered by the law of the just
No place for kindness, compassion, or trust
Judgement is based on the committing of an act
Judgement is based on crime as such
Governed not by feelings, but by the fact
Devoid of humanity, all criminality it must crush
Yet by law, can we judge a wish
Can we measure its cost, its malice
Can we counter its existence devilish
By punishing its occurrence with justice
Judgement cannot be delivered on the thought of prejudice
Wishes and passiveness cannot be accounted
When discrimination occurs, where is the justice?
Is this all for which human hypocrisy amounted?
