It's Daylight

 It was obvious as roosters sounded the alarm...

Birds sing and laugh their feathers away...

 

The cold wind piercing through the cracks and the annoyance of the lights protesting through the fortress of my curtains...

 I sprang out of bad and burst the windows open, sticking my head out, deep breath in and a loud one out; the air is perfect...

Neighbours walking by on their early strolls, some with their cats and some with their dogs...

Street lights clicking off and motor vehicles speeding by... Everything I hope for lies in today, everything you ever desire is one-day closer...  

 If only you'd believe and be happy because we are a gateway to city Day...
