Introvert's Paradise

He walked all alone,

Making footprints on the sands.

Which he preferred,

Over his peers' weekend plans.

 

He was sick and tired,

Of the people who pretend.

He held on to his way of life,

Unwilling to ammend.

 

Plenty of people near him,

But he was happy to be lost in the crowd.

Plenty of thoughts in his mind,

But none he had to say aloud.

Plenty of noise around,

But he loved the waves' gentle roaring sound.

 

And an introvert's paradise,

There he found.
