Insomnia

Insomnia

Thorn of dissatisfaction

pricks the wall of my heart.

The mind doesn't know where,

My aim lost the target on the dart.

Thoughts of today's repentance,

Don't want to leave the head,

For they are engaged in thinking,

Of my tomorrow's bread.

"Dreams aren't what come in sleep

But those that don't let you sleep"

-someone has said,

And that is what does not pause my brain

Even when I stop in bed.

But insomnia is surely not a path towards progress,

Before I start it is necessary

To stop and rest,

For rest itself takes away lethargy,

And strengthens, for tomorrow's test!
