Halo of charming dawn embraces me in its arms

In the midst of mystical chants I open my eyes

Instils love and hope to enlighten my life

Magical aroma of blossoms diffuses deep

First ray of sun slits through a pane to signify

New day is alive and won over the darkest night

Blends of crimsons in infinite blue inspire  

To foster the unique colour of our essence

Prayers from temples and mosques echoes

In deep folds of composed ambience

Hymns of devotion in churches and gurudwaras

Akin to magical jingles pacifies my woes

Beauty to start days with distinct prayers denotes

Innate uniqueness is blended in our diversity

The divine aroma of incense from abodes

Soothes my soul as I cross the muddy cores

The yesteryears adage and tales

Foster deep seeds of wisdom to bury the wails

Instils vigour to cross blissfully those extra trails

O! The candid beauty and charm of rural towns

Eternal swathe of green and blue surround

As charm of dusk slowly spreads its dense embrace       

In the serene ambience of sparkling luminaries I lay

Moonlight kissing my cheeks and I close my eyes

Serene zephyr leisurely cuddles me in halo of sleep

My heart whispers and soul hums within

Sheer blessing is spread across eternity!!!
