I wish

I wish the world was full of joy, love and care for each girl and boy

I wish no one lived in the street

And all had bread to eat

I wish all had clothes to wear, clothes that were new without a tear.

I wish all the children could go to school.

To learn how to read and write in full.

I wish no one would cut trees,

And all the gardens were full of breeze and sweet peas.

I wish that God would grant my wish.
