I Want To Be Kid Again

When fights were physical and races were fun,

We used to laugh and enjoy at the end, no matter who won,

I want to fight and enjoy again,

I want to be kid again.

When elders used to fight,

And getting involved was not considered right,

We were thrown out of the house to play outside,

I want to be thrown out of the house again,

I want to be kid again.

When things were done without any purpose,

We were cheerful and happy as in a circus,

I want to do things without purpose again,

I want to be kid again.

At every stage of the life the world said this is it,

Life is bed of roses if you cross it,

That promised bed of roses is nowhere to be seen,

No matter how many stages I have been,

I do not want to pass any more stages again,

I want to be kid again.
