I Am The Ocean
I Am The Ocean
I splish, I splash
A soothing commotion
With half a thousand shells in stash
I am the ocean
I whir, I wade
A facile slog
With half a hundred beaches to wave
And with a variety of fish, I fog
I look, I learn
From the surfers
With a million languages to discern
And a million people to have an observer
I splish, I splash
A soothing commotion
With half a thousand shells in stash
I am the ocean
I observe, I absorb
The people's stresses
For the dip their feet and get them curbed
As I feel their pitiful depresses
I play, I make
With those fishes
For I give all and take only my fate
For what good brings the riches?
I splish, I splash
A soothing commotion
With half a thousand shells in stash
I am the ocean
I flow, I froth
Along my waters
As the people come to auth
Me and the salt from the seawater
I gaze, I gape
At the vast sky
For, this blue world, I cannot escape
Carrying this journey of ages with a happy sigh
I splish, I splash
A soothing commotion
With half a thousand shells in stash
I am the ocean
