The pleasant coldness in the air

And the warmth of freshly brewed coffee,

Teaching me the lessons of inner peace.

The pluvophile in me

Acknowledging the grandeur of the moment

Which is better than dreaming.

With Innocence in abundance

Reaching out are those arms, so itsy-bitsy.

Divine purity in the eyes

Allures me to pick and hold him

Smooches one too many

Payed for the divine charm he carries.

Those little fragile touch which breaks me,

Anxiety shrouded in those eyes,

Filled with worry

For what tribulations ahead lies.

The troubles I bore

Those hands extends

To offer help, which couldn’t be ignored.

That selflessness in mind,

Rare it is to stumble upon such kind.

Realising how a certain someone

Becomes the friend indeed

When the kinship fails to deliver the need.

Thankful and grateful for eternity,

A blessing which I would forever carry,

Stress too with its burden accompanied.

Only to find the lady of the house awaiting

With my favorite dish awaiting ready.

Patiently the curiosity builds

For she awaits my say.

No matter how many times I repeat

She won’t believe.

I would prefer nothing over this any day,

As the only ingredient named

mother’s love is the key.

Each bite in itself is a different journey

A simple peek from known stranger lady,

Threw my soul out of the bound of gravity,

After few moments of obscurity

It returned to my awed body.

Making her a part of me.

Walking into the house of the Magnificent

To be humbled down on my knees.

A glance at the holy words scribed on the house shrouded in black,

Kills every ounce of pride I ever had.

Forehead touches the cold marble floor

In prostration yet I rise.

Liberation from the guilt

Is where the true freedom lies.

Reminded of my humility and His indescribable glory

Reinvigorating the dying faith in me,

Maybe these are miracles

which I fail to see,
