Human Touch
Human Touch
Everyone is alone
they love to be so,
after all they all have
technology to show.
You laugh, you cry,
today nobody knows.
Everyone has their
own phone, you know?
No poet sits down
under a shady tree,
to admire the beauty
of the settling sun today.
Everything is under control,
at the tip of one's thumb.
Nobody cares what the
other one wants.
You wait for a smile,
everyone's busy.
Sending smilies
to people around.
The smells of books
and books too,
are fading quickly-
As the time gets through..
A comforting touch,
or a pat on the back-
Can technology give it too?
I look for his eyes,
They are busy too-
Watching the TV programme
and the shows,
I wait for them to look at me too.
There are less birds
Sparrows are all gone,
Can you tell me,
are feelings going too?
A fear engulfs me
as if I already know,
Some day what shall be
and how it will show.
Feelings will all go,
Like 'robots'
humans will show
the efficiency of
technology
will then only grow!
