Hope

A four-letter word so small,

But still so substantial and tall. 

Hope makes an ant crawl for food, 

And a bird cares for his brood. 

A baby crawls in hope to stand,

And a farmer fertilizes his barren land. 

The hope of success converts dreams to actions,

And a failure tries again in a hope of satisfaction. 

Stars moving towards each other in a hope to meet, 

Lovers hold together despite so many cheats. 

It’s the hope which makes you bright,

A hope of dawn after a painful night.

So hold on wherever you are 

Hope is there to take you far.
