Hope
Hope
Hope, the dream we see with our eyes open,
Which keeps us awake every night.
Hope, When the farmer see his first crop,
Dancing in the breeze.
Hope, When the fisherman goes into the sea
And casts his nets.
Hope, When we see the first shower of rains,
And we breathe in the lovely damp soil.
Hope, What a mother feels,
When she touches her womb.
Hope, When we usher in every new day with the sunrise
Hope, when leaves fall in autumn,
And the trees bloom in spring.
Hope, Like the reed we hold on to,
When we are drowning.
Hope, Like a parachute we catch,
When we are falling.
Hope, the oxygen we need,
To stay alive.
