Her Story
Her Story
“She stares off into the ocean
With the moonlight shining down on her shoulders
Reevaluating every move since she’s older
Not naive, she’s self assure, reassured as you evaluate her
It was given to slip up, misbehaving, self medicating just seemed bolder
Misled by her match, torn down, she cracked, resent grew cause no one told her
Overcame, grew with change, left behind all she knew, faced the pain
To improve was the goal, methods used to help her cope, sometimes she had to use
Fall backs never proved or showed the way to be true
Then one day, vintage shop, along the way, she found you
You had no clue, you saw a light, felt the energy so you made a move
She let you in, with all her sins, fears within, exposed her scars, so you could choose
Unaware of how you’d feel, she cracked the seal, the vault was open, no need to steal
You became the man, the saviour, she was the purpose and the guide for both of you to heal
Now you drift with blissful thoughts on the coast in each other’s arms, it was real."
