Happy Mother’s Day
Happy Mother’s Day
Even our kind and humble moms have their own mother,
Who is our Mother Earth
The Care-Giver and Best Nurture!
She bestows us with numerous resources,
Hope, happiness, life and care
But these days
She has been gasping for clean air.
She works hard
Endures pain and hardships
Just to see a little smile on our face everyday
Though we are just the opposite
We do not care for her always.
Every time when there is strife
She lets bygones be bygones,
But we just don’t abide
By her sincere norms.
She eagerly waits for us to turn over a new leaf,
But, is let down
Pollution, Climate Change and Geo-storms
Are her part of grief.
She allows us all
To prance and play on the white blanket she sows
But we are ice-hearted
Nobody thanks her
Spoiling her as if she is a curse of woe
The little raindrops she grants us
Are pitter-patters of entity
Giving life to all and sundry
She vouchsafes us with life
In good spirits and positive energy.
Although we keep on repeatedly
Barking up the wrong tree,
She doesn’t think ill or bad
And does not show prejudice or bias towards anybody.
The autumn leaves on the floor is a crackly rug
Sown together for every creature,
She is a care-giver that shines always
Proving the age
All that is gold does not glitter.
She envelopes us in a warm cocoon
Every time a horrid storm comes whirling
Let’s be thankful every minute
To be her earthlings.
So let’s not cry over spilled milk
Help her in bursting this harmful bubble,
Not standing by her today
Will bring us more typhoons, catastrophes and trouble!!
Let’s reunite to Nourish HER
Aid her
Wish her a happy Mother’s Day
By pledging to respect and protect her
Every second of everyday.
